The PGA Championship 2025 is ready for the upswing with Xander Schauffele to defend its crown – but all eyes are aimed at another contender.

Rory McIlroy is back, a month from his remarkable Masters Triumph to secure a holy career -Grand Slam.

The Northern Irishman finally ended his eleven-year-old Majors Dürre and extended from his second PGA championship victory in 2014 to April of this year.

McIlroy will be determined to burst the dam and compensate for the lost time in the greatest events, but he will have his work cut out in view of the strength of the field.

No. 1 of the World No. 1, Scottie Scheffler, comes a year after his controversial arrest and a quick publication in Quail Hollow, after he was arrested only 70 minutes to reach his T -shirt at the event location of last year, Valhalla, in Kentucky. All charges against Scheffler were dropped.
