May 14, 2025 – Officials of the Sheriff of San Diego County report that Sheriff's Murder investigator on May 12, 2025 were announced that a 31-year-old woman died in the custody of the sheriff in a local hospital.

On May 12, 2025, around 7:25 p.m., the Sergants of the Sheriff in Las Colina's imprisonment and re -entry facility carried out their routine supervisor checks when they discovered the individual that did not react in their cell. After observing the situation, the Sergeants immediately activated 9-1-1, demanded the medical staff at the facility for support and started the HLW.

Rescue actors Medical staff from the American medical reaction (AMR) Ambulance No. 5 and the fire brigade from Santee took over life -saving measures on their arrival. AMR Ambulance transported the woman to a local hospital. Despite their efforts, the person was died in the hospital at around 8:15 p.m. in the hospital.

This person has been in custody since May 11, 2025 and was exposed to several theft ranking, including vehicle theft, and an official.

The identity of the deceased is currently held back until the notification of her family. The Saniff's office of San Diego extends our sympathy for the family of the deceased and everyone who is affected by their death. The Citizens' Law Enforcement Review Board (Clerb) was informed about the incident.
