HCSO -MP violates the crash when the driver allegedly red light near Greenhouse and Hollyhock in Northwest Harris County leads

Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – A representative of the Sheriff office by Harris County recovers in the hospital after being injured in a crash when he reacts to a call.

On Tuesday, around 8:34 p.m., the MP was in his marked patrol car from the Greenhouse Road from Hollyhock Drive, when witnesses said that another driver drove a red light and hit the side of the patrol car.

The patrol car ended upside down, but according to HCSO, the MP was able to escape his destroyed cruiser.

“He was on the road and was sent to a call for mental health at that time,” said SGT B. Beaty at the scene. “It was a priority 2 call, so emergency lights and sirens were not activated or needed.”

The investigators said the MP had a head injury and went to the hospital. He is expected to be fine.

Beaty said that the driver would not have any criminal complaints at that time.
