Motorcyclist killed in Pueblo, woman who was suspected of the vehicle murder

Pueblo, Colorado (Koaa) – the friend of a man who was killed in Pueblo when he drove with his motorcycle, turned to News5 to ask the reporting on the fatal crash.

On Wednesday, news5 confirmed to the Pueblo police that the crash on May 8th at 9:40 a.m. in the area of ​​the Northern Avenue and the Routt Avenue was reported. The intersection is located east of the Bessemer Park.

“The driver of an SUV drove to the west in the Northern Ave. and turned north in the Rutt Ave. and met a male motorcyclist,” wrote a spokesman for the Pueblo police department on News5. “Officials arrived on site and provided first aid before the motorcyclist was brought to a local hospital with life -threatening injuries.”

The motorcyclist died after he was taken to another hospital with the helicopter.

The driver of the SUV was identified as a 48-year-old Christine Herrera. Herrera was originally charged with DUI and vehicle riffs, but these charges were upgraded for vehicle murder.
