Finneas is a tribute to 2001: A Space Odyssey with his new video for '2001' with Kate Hudson

Finnas has introduced a new music video for his track '2001', comes from his latest album “For Cryin 'Out Loud!” About Interscope Records.

The video staged by Claudia Sulewski contains in addition to the actress and singer-songwriter Kate Hudson Finneas. The story follows Finneas as a love actor, who sinks for his disinterested on-screen director, played by Hudson.

“When I started this music video for the first time, I knew that I wanted to give '2001: A Space Odyssey' a tribute to some of the best-known setups of the film such as the Fishye lens and the wrong sequence for some of the most iconic seed ups in the film and the wrong sequence,” says Sulewski. “In order to play Finne's texts, I wanted to mix some light, cheeky moments between Finnes and Kate. An actor is hopelessly falling in love with his director, who cared less about it and only focuses on making a great film.”
