At 6.15 p.m. on Tuesday, the deputies reacted to the shootout in the area of ​​Avery Drive in Covington. When they arrived, they found the victim, which was later identified as a 41-year-old David Gray from Covington, dead in his house.

In the course of the investigation, the Sheriff's office said that gays were shot by his stepson, 16-year-old Jayden Daniel von Covington.

The sheriff's office says that he left the scene in a Cadillac Escalade 2016 that belonged to the Gay. The investigators were later found at Denny Dobbs Park, but the teenager was not in the area.

Daniel is considered “armed and dangerous” by the Sheriff's office.

Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the teenager is asked to call 911 immediately and not to approach him.
