Trump Live: President signs with Qatar about defense and aviation – then he raves about the pretty leader | US messages

Donald Trump's tour through the Middle East was all about trade, money and shows the Arab nations how they can thrive if they do things “the Trump -Weg”, says the US correspondent Mark Stone.

The president held a speech yesterday at an investment summit in Saudi Arabia, where he spoke glowing about what the “golden age of the Middle East” could look like, “defined by trade, not chaos”.

It came when he signed an £ 450 billion deal, which included energy, technology and aviation and space investments with Doha.

But a problem that has not yet been presented on the agenda for Trump is the war in Gaza, where the Hamas Ministry of Health said that 53 people were killed after Israeli air raids in Jabalia houses.

“Certainly the violence we saw in Gaza overnight overshadowed Trump's journey to the Middle East,” says Yalda Hakim Yalda Hakim.

But stone disagrees and says that the fatal strikes in Gaza only overshadowed Trump's tour, “if they take care”.

“If you look at the pomp and the fact here … to be honest, I don't think Gaza seems to see this trip.”

Stone adds that the fact that Trump has hit Syria's President Ahmed Al Sharaa, but does not visit Israel during his journey “Speak Volumes” – and that this trip for Trump is “everything about trading”.

And he says that Trump's message “because the bombs produced in Gaza strips fall in America a clear duplicity”.
