Lakeland, Fla. – – According to Sheriff Grady Judd, several arrests were made on Monday after two people were killed in Lakeland.

Polk County's office said that a driver was shot behind the wheel of a white Mercedes, shortly before his vehicle was hit in a house in Lakeland to meet and kill an electric cyclist who came by at the beginning of this week.

The 19 -year -old Davin Boutwell from Mulberry was in the Secret Cove quarter on Monday and, according to investigators, made a drug agreement, but other young men planned to tear him down. The young men came to Boutwell's Mercedes and were talked.

Then the car raced from the Pirates Way and drove directly into a house along this street.

During a press conference on Monday, Judd said the investigators believed that one of the various young men who originally turned to the Mercedes fired the fatal shot in which the driver was killed.

The sheriff said that the young men who were seen near Boutwell's car ran away from the scene, including the Trigger man.

The sheriff's office said an innocent viewer was also killed. After the crash, the deputies found 38-year-old Nathaniel Jones under the Mercedes. According to officials, Jones passed his e-bike when the Mercedes hit the house.

The investigators said that Jones did not seem to have a participation in the event to crash and shoot. The sheriff said that the 38-year-old drove to the house of his brother, in which the vehicle was near the residence.

Judd is expected to offer an update via the double murder examination at 1:30 p.m.
