Grady Judd offers update after 2 killed in Lakeland during the drug agreement.

According to Sheriff Grady Judd, several arrests were made on Monday after two people were killed in Lakeland.

The background story:

Polk County's office said that a driver was shot behind the wheel of a white Mercedes, shortly before his vehicle was hit in a house in Lakeland to meet and kill an electric cyclist who came by at the beginning of this week.

The 19 -year -old Davin Boutwell from Mulberry was in the Secret Cove quarter on Monday and, according to investigators, made a drug agreement, but other young men planned to tear him down. The young men came to Boutwell's Mercedes and were talked.

Then the car raced from the Pirates Way and drove directly into a house along this street.

Grab deeper:

A fatal fall examination turned into a murder examination when the MPs found that Boutwell had been shot into the house in front of the contract.

During a press conference on Monday, Judd said the investigators believed that one of the various young men who originally turned to the Mercedes fired the fatal shot in which the driver was killed.

What you say:

“I want to make it clear to those who were there that we have their picture,” said Judd. “It is important that you understand that you can be a suspect, or you can be a witness … we know that a person was the trigger. We know that the others were involved. So decide again. You decide where you want to be in this study.”

The sheriff said that the young men who were seen near Boutwell's car ran away from the scene, including the Trigger man.

The sheriff's office said an innocent viewer was also killed. After the crash, the deputies found 38-year-old Nathaniel Jones under the Mercedes. According to officials, Jones passed his e-bike when the Mercedes hit the house.

Family members of Nathaniel Jones (38) say that he is a father and a hard worker.

The investigators said that Jones did not seem to have a participation in the event to crash and shoot. The sheriff said that the 38-year-old drove to the house of his brother, in which the vehicle was near the residence.

Judd is expected to offer an update via the double murder examination at 1:30 p.m.
