JPD arrests teenagers for Holden Street Tönung and alludes to earlier crime history after Richter set a bond at $ 1 million

Jackson, Miss. (WLBT)-The chief of police of Jackson, Joseph Wade, terminated the murder of a 17-year-old suspect because of a murder that took place last week, and the name of a alleged accomplice in the crime.

Wade said the officials had arrested Lecorion Davis, but not said when the arrest took place.

On May 7, Davis will be accused of killing 19-year-old Zephaniah Thompson near the Holden Street and in the Segura Avenue.

Wade said the alleged accomplice, 20-year-old Michael Kelly Jr., is still being sought by the authorities.

“My understanding based on my team, which told me, was a beef between one of these young men and the young man who just walked the street with someone,” said Wade. “And you get these people, you know and went down there to take his life.”

Wade said reporters that in this case he would not rule out any additional arrests and pointed out the need for greater efforts by young people in Jackson.

“It is very important that we these repeated criminals, these relapses, these people who continue to loot our community from the streets of Jackson,” said Wade.

This is one of the reasons why Wade pointed out that Davis' bond with $ 1 million in Hinds County was typically set in the typical dole in Hinds County.

However, the city's top police officer did not reveal the crime history of the two individuals when he was asked that Davis' crimes as a teenager took place.

With this arrest, JPD 21 of the 22 murders, which it has worked so far this year.
