Margate Crime Update: The man flees to the traffic stop, hides on the roof before the K9 unit follows him in Margate

The Margate police reacted to various calls until May 12th. Below you will find a detailed presentation of the incidents treated by the local law enforcement authorities during this period.

Heavy battery – domestic violence
A suspect threw a metal cup on the head of a woman, which led to a major injury that required several staple clips. The suspect fled, but later agreed to meet the police.

House battery – arrest
The 24 -year -old Alexis Gonzalez was arrested after grabbing a woman on her hair and shoulder during a dispute over the dog of a neighbor. Transferred to BSO custody.

Fraud and great theft – arrest
The 29 -year -old Gerdy Nate was arrested after receiving a new Arrigo Dodge vehicle with a fraudulent check.

Stolen motorcycle
A 2021 Green and Black Kawasaki ZX636 was stolen by the Courtyard Drive. The motorcycle lock was cut and was missing.

Stolen vehicle
A black 2024 Dodge Ram Pickup was stolen in Monte Carlo Lane overnight.

Criminal disaster
A 2024 Mercedes Benz, which was parked in Cirq 5100 apartments, had both windshields smashed overnight. The owner stated that he was alerted by the car alarm, but only checked in the morning.

Vehicle slump
Tools, including drills, hammers and saws, were stolen from a panel van that was parked in the Banks Road after May 1st. The lock and the door were damaged.

House battery – Nic detention
Diego Barbosa, 38, supposedly took a woman from the hand of a woman and forced her thumb to check during a dispute.

Grand theft – electric bike
An unknown suspect was seen on the surveillance video in which an electric bike by Jesse's was stolen on the Atlantic Boulevard.

Fate theft – memory unit
Management at Cubesmart in the NW 15th Street noticed several objects that were missing in a storage unit. The owner was not in the city.

Traffic criminals – arrest
Marquez Fraise, 22, was arrested during a traffic stop after it was found that he was an ordinary traffic offender with four former DWLS judges.

Resistance to arrest and VOP – arrest
The 44 -year -old David Foster fled from a traffic stop and tried to hide on a roof. He was later found with the help of Margate K9 and BSO Aviation and was taken into custody.

Capia's arrest
The 58 -year -old Timony Sean Lorenz was arrested on a shopping spot on the Atlantic Boulevard after the officials answered a report from a suspicious person. He had an active arrest warrant to pay child support.

Capia's arrest during the transition call
The 62 -year -old George Daniel was taken into custody during an active DWLS command during a monitoring of the SW 11TH Street.

Battery – dating violence and incorrect detention
The 26 -year -old Rodchild Capita was arrested after a dispute was physically. He supposedly suffocated a woman and broke her phone during the argument.

House battery and strangulation – arrest
Matthew Grantham, 48, supposedly threw a game controller out of a woman's hands and suffocated her during an argument. He was in Pembroke Pines and changed to BSO.

House battery – arrest
Leovardo Valverde, 58, was arrested for a simple battery after a domestic argument escalated to physical violence. He was considered the primary attacker.

Transfer and arrest of arrest warrant
The 46 -year -old Marie Shunnara was arrested after entering a residential facility and returning shortly afterwards. She was also sought because of Petit theft.

House battery – arrest
Maria Landaeta Salazar was arrested after pusing a man in the face during a dispute over his alcohol consumption, which led to visible injuries.

Vehicle slump
A vehicle that was parked in the Northwest Hospital was found on the windows with an open hood and fingerprints. Nothing was stolen, but law enforcement is desirable.

Theft in retail
An unknown man fled with a stolen Ninja helicopter worth 22.96 USD on the Atlantic Boulevard after being confronted by an employee. It may have fled in a vehicle.
