How a man's crime led to a fatal California forest fire

A man from the Bay Area was condemned to have killed a woman he met in a dating app and then began a fire to dispose of her body – which began a forest fire in California, which burned a quarter of a million morning in 2020.

Castro's car was found on the same day, the authorities were called to a fire that quickly spread from Highway 128. The fire, which became known as Markley Fire, destroyed thousands of tomorrow, hundreds of structures and numerous houses and livestock, reported CBS.

The residents of Solano County, Douglas Mai, 82, and Leon “James” Bone (64) both died out of the fire in their houses. The Markley Fire merged with other fires in 2020 and became a LNU lighting complex, one of the largest fires in the history of California.

On September 2, 2020, human remains were found near the fire. In addition to the remains, there were an angel trailer from which the prosecutors belonged to Castro. The remains were identified by the authorities as Castro.

Serrito was arrested nine days later and charged with murder of Castro, the outlet reported. The arson and two other murder plants were added in 2021.

“With a heavy heart, we are wearing this terrible news about this senseless death,” the Vacaville police said in a statement to Sfgate at that time. Castro left a 9-year-old daughter.

“Priscilla was and is a beautiful, strong, loving woman who does not deserve this tragedy,” Castro's sister told the outlet in an explanation.

The investigators said they had not found Castro's cause of death, but that she died during the night when she met Serrito. “Priscilla Castro never kept Vacaville alive, but was killed in the house of the accused Serrito,” said the public prosecutor's office in an explanation at the outlet. “After killing Priscilla Castro, he drove her to the Putah Creek Wildlife area on Highway 128, where he drained her body.”

Krishna Abrams, District Prosecutor of Solano, told the outlet in an explanation that he hopes that the requests will be accountable for his actions for his actions and that a feeling of justice and closure will convey to all those affected.

Serriteno is currently in custody and will return to court on August 14th to be convicted, the outlets reported.
