Supercross 2025 250 results, highlights, graduation in Salt Lake City: Haiden Deegan wins the East / West showdown

Haiden Deegan did not have to win the season finale in the Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, but when he was asked before the round whether he would run differently, since the drivers of the Eastern Division still had a championship to decide, he replied with a emphatic “no”. He would run to win and drop the chips where they like.

Deegan was never part of the division battle. He earned the Holeshot and closed himself from the chaos behind him. Finally, he ended almost 10 seconds ahead of Julien Beaumer when the two young cannons renew their rivalry at the podium level. Deegan ended the 2025 season with the most 250 wins with four.

Beaumer started the season with three podiums in the first three rounds. He injured his shoulder in the qualification for Arlington and lost dynamics in the middle of the season, but he jumped back at the end of the year to achieve runners in a row in the last two rounds. He was held to position both by Seth Hammaker and RJ Hampshire in the middle of the race, but regained the place when they crashed in the fight for the East championship.

The real beneficiary of the Hammaker / Hampshire crash was Tom Vialle. He started the race in second place, but lacked the pace of his rivals. Vialle faded until the fifth, but there was a method in his style. He knew that the only way to secure the championship was to stay out of the way when the other two title candidates were forced to exceed their luck. Vialle returned to a podium position in round 15 and thought Hammaker in Bay was a second title in a row.

Vialle will be forced to move to the 450 Supercross Division next year, which does not allow 250 masters to stay in the support class longer than a year after winning a title.

Hammaker did not get the best of starts and was in round 8 to fourth place. However, he had speed. Hammaker ran in the racing phase of the race in front of Vialle's teammate in the race, and when he had driven far, he lost enough dynamics to enable Hampshire to close the distance. Hampshire lost patience in round 15 and cleaned his competitor, who was only before the finish line. Hammaker exhibited his bike in fourth place, but lost too much distance to catch the Vialle and pass.

Hampshire took responsibility for the incident: “Everyone always says that he will do everything to win a championship. Well, I did it. I was the guy. I take full responsibility for it.” He said in an interview with racerx.com. Hampshire apologized to Hammaker and Pro Circuit -Team Director Mitch Payton after the damage was done.

Hampshire will move into the 450 division the next weekend when the Pro Motocross season begins on the Fox Raceway in Pala, California.

Michael Mosiman became fifth and achieved his third top 5 of the season. Exercise results only achieved a ninth place, although they achieved seven top 10 rounds in 10 250 west rounds.
