A 40-year-old man was killed on a petrol station on the south side of Chicago early Wednesday morning, the police said.

The man was with another person at a petrol station in the 7400 block of the South Stony Island Ave. In the city's Grand Crossing neighborhood at 1:15 a.m., according to CPD.

When the argument escalated, the police said that the other person pulled out a gun and opened the fire. The victim was hit in his body several times and the shooter fled in a white vehicle.
