Apple Maps now highlights expert restaurants

As of today, Apple MAPS users in the USA can search for and look at Michelin Guide Awards and look at them, including Michelin stars, Green Stars, Bib Gourmand restaurants and important hotels.

Apple also brings curated content and ranking lists from falling in love and golf golf on cards “soon”, with further sources planned for the future.

In addition to descriptions and photos via Apple Maps, these expert contributions are now divided via Apple Maps. In some cases, users can even book hotels directly from cards. According to Apple, the restaurant reservations about Michelin and Golf Tea Times will soon be added via Supreme Golf.

According to David Dorn, the Senior Director of Internet Software and Services products from Apple, “Michelin Guide, the falling in love and golf are leading industry experts that consumers rely on … and we are happy to bring our valuable knowledge and awards for our users to Apple Maps.”

Gwendal Pullennec, international director of the Michelin guidelines, also emphasized that the partnership “extraordinary gastronomy and hospitality experiences” is more accessible to food and travel enthusiasts.
