Woman who killed the man in hit-and-run and then mocked his family

A woman condemned for vehicle murder will serve over three and a half years in prison in a case in which she declined before the law and the family of the man she killed.

The Hennepin County documents show that Victoria Nevada Yorahee, 26, was sentenced to 43 months in prison for criminal vehicle murder.

It will be recognized for 251 days and an additional charge of murder of criminal vehicle has been rejected.

Court documents claim that Yorahee met 52-year-old Andre Steward in Minneapolis on the night of July 29, 2024, which was all captured by the surveillance camera of a church.

According to the authorities, the 52 -year -old Steward, he drove home with his motorized scooter when he was hit by an SUV in Fremont and 22nd Avenue North. According to the police, the SUV went about 80 miles per hour before the crash.

Witnesses told the police that several women had risen from the SUV and the driver pulled out the rear license plate before ran away. Steward was injured and caught under the SUV. He later died of his injuries in the hospital.

In the days after the death of the steward, court documents, Steward's family members stated that they were molested by Yorahee: “By phone and social media … say they will never be caught.”

However, Yorahee was arrested in September and later sent to a prison in Dallas, Texas, before he was delivered to Minnesota.
