The Cocoa Beach police said she found the suspect from a sexual battery that took place more than two years ago.

The police said the investigation began in January 2023 when a woman reported the attack.

Detectives say that in January 2025 they received new DNA evidence, so that they coordinated with the police department of Cincinnati in Ohio to get a DNA sample from a potential suspect.

The forensic analysis of this DNA led to an arrest warrant against Brendon Alladin Miller (33) from Ohio. He was taken into custody in Cincinnati on Tuesday.

According to the Cocoa Beach police authority, Miller is delivered to the prison of Brevard County in Florida for sexual battery and battery.

“Thanks to our partners in the FDLE and the Cincinnati Police Department, the police authority of Cocoa Beach is extended for their invaluable support. This case remembers: If you commit a crime in the city of Cocoa Beach, we will pursue the judiciary in a press release – independent state lines”.

Anyone who has additional information about this case is asked to contact Detective SGT. Payne of the department for criminal investigations under 321-868-3344.
