The violation of Seattle Mariner's RhP Miller has continued the problem

The start of the 2025 season was frustrating for Seattle Mariner's starter Bryce Miller.

The right -hander did not feel like it all season, and the results on the field became apparent. Miller has not registered six inners this season and recorded a career-loving start of starts under six innings in his rookie season in 2023. After he had approved seven runs against the Blue Jays on Sunday, his era rose to 5.22.

On Wednesday, the MS put their fighting starter on the 15-day injured list of elbow infections in his pitching arm. Miller, who joins the starters Logan Gilbert and George Kirby on the IL, said it was a problem that he has had to do with last two months of last season.

“It was something that I mentioned a few times, but only a species and really started half of the last year and somehow led the off -season,” said Miller before the game on Wednesday against the Yankees.

Miller underwent an MRI on Monday who gave the elbow no structural damage and said he felt better after making a cortisone shot on Tuesday. He and the club are optimistic that he is ready to return to the field as soon as his IL stint has expired.

“It was somehow at the point where it didn't get better what we did, and I don't think it was still being repaired in a magical way,” said Miler. “… they told me that the cortisone in the past was great with men with similar things, and ideally (it will) rinse the inflammation. I think the plan came back as soon as I am from the IL and was ready to go.”

General Manager Justin Hollander said earlier a day that Miller can resume three to four days after the throw. He also said that Miller's problem lies on the back of his elbow, not on the front in which the UCL – that is what Tommy John Operation repairs – would be a problem.

While the forecast of Millers Ellbogen is a positive news overall because it is not more serious, the trip to the IL is another hard blow in a difficult first seven weeks of Miller's third career campaign.

“It was only frustrating because I have the feeling of doing everything I may be able to arm about careful and preparatory preparations, and it just didn't improve,” said Miller.

Miller was excellent in 2024 when he led his elbow problem. In nine starts on August 9, he went with an ERA of 1.34, which was second in the majors over the track. He lasted at least six in ours on seven of these excursions and allowed a deserved run or less in five.

Miller said the pain lasted in the low season, but he felt good when spring training started. However, it came back at his first start and since then he has not felt 100%.

“It felt good at the camp, so I never really said anything about it. But every week I have the feeling that it just didn't get better,” said Miller. “This is not an easy game if you feel good. Trying to fight every start is a kind of hard fight. I look forward to doing it, switching it off and feeling fresh again.”

The Mariner's manager Dan Wilson said that Miller's lack of command was what emerged from his early battles in connection with the elbow problem.

“Sometimes it's a physical thing and sometimes it's a mental thing,” said Wilson. “He continues to say that he didn't feel like he did not feel, and it will be good to take care of and return to what he is. I think we are on the right track.”

The Mariners called the left -hander Jhonathan Díaz, with Miller going to the IL. You have an off-day on Thursday before starting a series with three games in San Diego Padres. The MS were able to take their rotation again with a day off. Wilson said you are about to find out.

At the moment you have to roll with the blows because three fifths of your starting trotation are on the IL.

“I think we will be in good condition,” said Wilson. “We survived the storm here with some injuries and just have to continue.”
