Frau arrested after cruelty to animals was caught in “disturbing” video: sheriff

Middletown, Ohio (Wxix) – A woman appears in court after a worrying video led to her arrest.

The 28 -year -old Katelin Conklin from Lemon Township performed on Wednesday in front of the Butler County Court, who, according to the butler County's sheriff office, was charged with animals and domestic violence.

Conclin was arrested after the Sheriff's office was announced that it was made aware of a “disturbing” video on Monday that was published on social media.

A relative of Conclin and Nick Roy, Conklin's friend, accepted the hearing together.

The two now showed Fox19 a video of the incident. The video supposedly points a dog in a choke pit and grabbed her friend on his hair before repeating him in his head. These videos that have been shared online now have more than 1 million views.

“It didn't really surprise me at all because I know that I don't know her very well, but I have known her for about a year and it was nothing but insane,” says Conclin's friend Nick Roy. “She is a stalker, she is a violent person, she is a kind of manic.”

Conclin bond was set on Friday at 5,500 US dollars, from which it would only have to pay 10%.

When Conklin publish the deposit, the judge has ordered her to keep Roy away from the victim of her abuse.

“I think it's a good thing,” said Roy. “Things like this have to get attention. You don't want such things to stay in the dark. Because as we talked about it, I think it should be a worse indictment and it is not the case.”

The dog can be heard in the video in which it fought to breathe, described the Sheriff's office.

Conclin also “violently” threw the dog to the ground, according to the information of the Sheriff office of Butler County.

Conclin was also ordered not to have any accompanying animals if she can publish her bond.

“This type of behavior is unacceptable,” said Richard Jones, Sheriff of Butler County. “We take both domestic violence and cruelty to animals very seriously and will always file charges if the evidence supports them.”

Katelin Conclin will be back to court on May 19.
