A grieving family opens after a 3-year-old girl was killed and her mother and 5-year-old sister were seriously injured in Texas due to a Mother's Day drop.

Shundrell White Brady, the injured driver's mother, said after seeing the footage of The Crash's Aftermath, she was horrified at what her daughter's car looked like. “This video doesn't give me the assumption that someone would have made it,” she told Fox Affiliate Kriv.

The crash occurred on Sunday, May 11th, shortly after 8 p.m. local time in the lanes to the north, as can be seen from a press release from the Conroe Police Department.

The police said the 26-year-old mother, who was identified by the family as Shavehn White, and her two daughters Chloe (5) and Camiria (3) were in a Toyota Camry who was parked on the shoulder due to a blown tire. Then a Honda Civic turned in the Hov Lane and hit the back of the family's car. Both cars were devoured in flames when the police arrived.

The mother and her 5-year-old daughter were pulled out of the rubble by first aiders and brought to a local hospital with “serious burns and injuries”, the police said. The 3-year-old girl was declared dead at the crime scene.

According to the police, the 55-year-old Donald Carson also suffered injuries who prompted him to transport them to the hospital. According to prison records, he was booked in the Montgomery County prison the next day. It is unclear whether he has kept a lawyer.

Carson, who has the former DWI, was charged with poisoning, a second degree crime and two cases of poisoning, and both criminal offenses third, Sergeant David Dickenson from the People's police department.

The grieving grandmother said that her daughter had spent two hours on the side of the road and was waiting for someone to come and get her “because according to ABC Station KTRK-TV she had a flat tire.

“There was constant communication between her and one of her siblings and someone who tried to get her,” she added.

Dickenson tells the people that from Wednesday, May 14th, “the mother and the five -year -old daughter are still classified as critical but stable.”

Shavohn's sister told Kriv how difficult it was to see her injured sister and niece and at the same time navigate the loss of the family.

“It's hard,” she said to The Outlet. “Something that I didn't even think about would go through.”

“You have a life away too early that could never fulfill its purpose,” added another family member. “She could have been the next president, the next mayor or so, but we will never know.”
