Trend cooler before weekend storms

Wichita, Kan. (Kwch) – The nearby record highs end with a number of cold fronts that do not bring rain, but push the humidity away and lead to very mild weather for the end of the week. The urgently needed rain will probably return to Kansas this weekend, but not at the state level.

On Thursday, a western to northwestern wind and drier air will have, so that heights can reach the upper 70s and low 80s.

Less wind is close to 80 and lots of sun through the day on Friday.

Over the weekend, a higher humidity should return to Kansas, which prepares the stage for thunderstorms early on Sunday morning and then at the beginning of next week. At the moment, heavy storms in Kansas seem to be unlikely, but there could be some in Oklahoma. Monday storms have a better chance of becoming serious, especially in central and eastern Kansas. For the levels, a weather warning day of the Sturz team 12 was exhibited for a greater storm potential.
