Man who was killed with an obvious murder of murder while mowing his lawn

Cleveland (Woio/Gray News) -The police in Ohio examined what they call on Wednesday afternoon as a murder suicide situation on the west side of the city.

According to the Cleveland police, the officials were called to a house in the Munn Road at 1:30 p.m. because of a shootout.

The officials found the body of a 50-year-old man who was fatally shot on the street. The neighbors said the victim mowed his lawn when he was killed.

The police said that the officers were looking for the alleged shooter immediately and found his car near Stinchcomb Memorial just a few minutes. In the vehicle they found him dead for a self -inflicted firing wound.

“He was a great neighbor, he was a great guy,” said a neighbor about the murder victim with tears in his eyes.

Station 17 City Councilor Charles Slife described the shootout as senseless action.

“I visited and spoke to neighbors, who are understandably shocked and disturbed. A neighbor asked for a priest who was contacted in the light of the victim's faith. Father Ramser came and offered him a prayer,” said Slife in a social media post. “Please pray for the victim and for his neighbors, who process this senseless act of violence.”

The police did not immediately shared further details about the shootout. However, the neighbors said that the victim and the suspect lived near each other, and the alleged shooter was known to be problems.

“He had continuous problems, everyone did it in the neighborhood with this neighbor,” said another resident.
