2 Chicago police officers who were injured in the South Side Crash in 68th Street and Wentworth Avenue

Chicago (WLS) – Two police officers in Chicago were injured in an accident on the south side on Wednesday morning, the police said.

The crash occurred around 12:13 p.m. when a patrol car with his lights drove north on Wentworth Avenue when the police said that the patrol car was hit by a gray limousine in 69th Street.

The two officers were taken to a hospital for observation and listed in good condition, the police said.

The 34-year-old man who drove the gray limousine rejected medical help and was not quoted, the police said. No other injuries were reported.
