Blake Lively's lawyers fight against Taylor Swift blackmail tests

A lawyer of Blake Lively defends himself against a claim by Justin Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman that a member of the Live Rights Team tried to blackmail Taylor Swift to publish support for the “simple favor”.

According to Freedman's letter, which was submitted to the court on Wednesday and judge Lewis J. Liman:

Freedman's accusation must be checked independently that it is based exclusively on information from an unnamed “source that is very likely reliable information”. In Freedman's submission, no further sources were raised to support the claim.

Divided in a statement diversityGottlieb struck the accusation as “categorical wrong” and “cowardly to supposed anonymous sources and completely from reality”.

“This is what we expected from the Wayfarer parties' lawyers who seem to love first without evidence, and without evidence and without care of the people who harm them in this process,” said Gottlieb. “We will submit applications to the court directly to blame these lawyers for their misconduct.”

LIVELY's warehouse delivered his own letter to Richter Liman and asked Freedman's accusation of being pushed out of the protocol.

“In the name of our client Blake Lively, we go respectfully to strike the letter signed by Mr. Bryan Freedman and have submitted earlier today,” says the letter from lawyer Esra Hudson. “This letter, which has not been submitted to any way, much less under oath, incorrectly accuses Ms. LIVELY and her lawyer to participate on” witness manipulation and evidence “on the basis of an anonymous source that is not mentioned.”

The letter continued: “It should be unnecessary to react to anonymous, unfounded allegations without the evidence. However, it is worth that the records are determined that each of the allegations in the free -from letter is clear and demonstrably wrong. As a legal matter, it is inappropriate. With regard to the dish.”

This comes back and forth from an application from Swift Camp in Venable LLP to remove a summons to create documents that were delivered on May 9th. The summons were in relation to Baldoni's defamation, which was submitted in January. The suit contained texts between lively and Baldoni, in which Lively Swift seems to be called “one of her dragons”. After the messages were broken, a representative of Swift denied any participation in LIVELY and BALDONIS film “It Ends with Us”, from which the legal dispute came between them.

The statement said: “Taylor Swift never set the set of this film, she was not involved in casting or creative decisions. She did not achieve the film, she never saw an editing or made notes to the film. She only looked for public publication weeks after public publication and traveled in 2023 and 2024 when he was the biggest tour in the history of the biggest tour in history.”
