Images as a crime scene Investigators examine an incident in Darlington

According to the police, the investigation and removal of evidence from a house in Darlington was seen and removed because the details of the incident are unknown.

The house in the Clifton Street in Darlington was the focus of a police examination overnight – with several investigators and vans from Tatorts.

Durham Constabulary has not yet published any details about the incident – since the neighbors are confused.

CSI on the Clifton Road. (Image: Northern Echo) A neighbor, David Chambers (78), said: “I was no longer of one of them, but there were three police vehicles there last night. They had the big white vans, I think there were two.

“They were here all night, the door was open and it was a policeman on the door.

The father of four children added: “I have lived here for well over 22 years and we have our parts, but nothing like that.

“I just stay in and let them go on it, I stay on my four walls!”

Another resident said: “I have no idea what's going on. I was traveling all day yesterday.”

A woman said she had just heard a “bang”, but didn't want to say anymore.

Pictures that were recorded by the scene this morning (April 30) showed a group of three white investigators who went to a home in and out of the house and remove evidence.

Durham Constabulary was contacted for more information.
