The former deputy who was charged with the death of inmates who was arrested for new charges

Bexar County, Texas -A former deputy of the Sheriff office of the Be County district, which was previously arrested in connection with the death of an inmate of the prison, was again arrested because of another indictment.

On Wednesday evening, Clemente Lopez was arrested due to an arrest warrant for organized criminal activities, said the sheriff's office.

The 20 -year -old Lopez was charged with murder at the beginning of this month after admitting the investigators that he had opened the door to a prison cell on April 28 to enable Francisco Bazan's alleged attack after an affidavit.

BCSO officers later no longer found Bazan (46) in his cell, said the Sheriff's office. The medical staff was called and life -saving measures were carried out.

Bazan was ultimately declared dead.

The authorities said Bazan had been found on his upper body with obvious “blunt injuries”. An autopsy showed that Basan's death was murder murder and that he had suffered from an extensive amount of internal bleeding according to the arrest warrant.

After BCSO had been asked by investigators, Lopez told the Sheriff's office and was immediately custody.

Court files show that Lopez had been released on May 3 with a bond of 500,000 US dollars.

Lopez was taken to Bexar County's prison to be edited for the new charges on Wednesday, said BCSO.

A search photo for Lopez 'new charges and additional details about its renewed were not immediately available.

The sheriff of Bexar County, Javier Salazar, said Ksat last week that after the first arrest of Lopez he was “disgusted”.

“I wanted to look (Lopez) in the eye and tell him exactly how disgusted I was with the behavior and I did it,” said Salazar. “He apologized, of course, but for me it was unfortunately very little comfort for what he enforced this agency and this family, which enforced this terrible, unimaginable tragedy of the loss of a loved one.

Lopez, who worked for BCSO in August 2023, is the fifth representative of the agency arrested so far this year.

So far, four occupants of the Bexar County district have also been charged with the death of Bazan, as court files.
