Mexican official: Members of the cartel family entered us in deal with Trump Administration

Mexico city – The chief of security Mexico confirmed on Tuesday that 17 family members of cartel leaders were crossed to the USA last week as part of an agreement between a son of the former head of the Sinaloa cartel and the Trump administration.

The Mexican Security Secretary Omar García Haröuch confirmed a report by the independent journalist Luis Chaparro that family members of Ovidio Guzman Lopez, who was delivered to the USA in 2023, entered the USA

Guzmán Lopez is one of the brothers who lead a parliamentary group of the Sinaloa cartel after the notorious Capo Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán was imprisoned in the US video, showed that the family members with their suitcases were over the border of Tijuana with their suitcases.

Last week, rumors were brought into circulation that the younger Guzmán owe guilty to avoid an attempt for several drug trafficking in the United States after being delivered in 2023.

García Haröuch confirmed the crossing of the family members in a radio interview and said it was clear that the Mexican authorities did so after the negotiations between Guzmán López and the US government.

He believed that this was the case because the former antitrust chief, whose lawyer said in January that he had entered negotiations with the US authorities, probably referred to fingers to members of other criminal organizations, as part of a cooperation agreement.

“It is obvious that his family goes to the USA because of a negotiation or an offer that the Ministry of Justice gives him,” said Garcia Haröuch.

He said that none of the family members were persecuted by Mexican authorities and that the government of US President Donald Trump “has to share information with Mexican prosecutors”, which it has not yet.

The confirmation by García Harfin comes on the same day when the US general prosecutor's office announced that it has accused a number of top cartel leaders with “narcototorism” for the first time since the Trump administration declared a number of cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

While the prosecutors rejected it to express the family's video, US lawyer Adam Gordon sent a warning to cartel members for the southern district of California and other civil servants and repeated the Sinaloa cartel with the name.

“Leave me directly to the leaders of the Sinaloa cartel, they are no longer the hunters, they are hunting. They are revealed by their friends, they are persecuted by their enemies, and they will be here in a courtroom in the southern district of California,” said Gordon.
