The members of the Miami Garden couple believe that their deaths were not accidental

Miami Gardens, Fla. -Jamie Spencer said she knew that her 65-year-old sister and her 59-year-old husband of 20 years were dead and a fire destroyed her home, but her grieving family believes that her deaths were not accidental.

Detectives examined the death of Rhonda Spencer and Tim Fordham on May 7 in Miami Gardens when their relatives met a vigil on Wednesday.

“The thought of losing her in the middle of the night unexpectedly in such a terrible way,” said Jamie Spencer about her grief.

Tamonjamin Williams said that an explosion awakened it shortly before 3:30 a.m. on May 7th in the house along the northwest 185 terrace in Miami Gardens.

“The blanket in the bedroom was on me. I called for them … I couldn't get out of the door … God pulled the door open and then I went out,” said Williams after the fire. “The security door was from the house. She hung.”

On Wednesday, Jamie Spencer said she and her family were glad that Williams survived.

“We wanted to speak today to clarify false rumors, speculation that our nephew was involved,” said Jamie Spencer.

Detective asked everyone to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stopper at 305-471-8477 with information on this or other cases in order to remain anonymous.
