Motorcyclist dies after crash at the crossroads of the Mayport Road in Atlantic Beach: FHP

Atlantic Beach, Fla. -A 32-year-old motorcyclist died on Tuesday evening after a crash at the intersection of Mayport and Levy Roads in Atlantic Beach, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Soldiers said that around 8:35 p.m., a pick-up truck on the Levy Road bog over the path of the motorcycle that drove south on the Mayport Road.

The motorcycle hit the front right corner of the pick-up, and the impact made the pick-up into the front of an SUV, which was located in the turn on the Levy Road, the report says.

The motorcyclist who wore a helmet died in the hospital, said FHP.

The 69-year-old driver of the pick-up, who crossed the motorcycle, suffered minor injuries. According to the report, he was wearing a seat belt.

The 30-year-old man who drove the SUV and his 25-year-old passenger were not injured, said Troopers. They also wore seat belts.
