Sister of the woman who was killed in the College Hill district is looking for answers in her death

St. Louis, Mo (first alarm 4) – It has been more than two weeks since a woman was found dead in an abandoned church in North St. Louis City.

Donna Roberts said her life changed when she received a call from SLMPD detectives on April 29 that her sister died.

“I only knew when he said he was a detective that she was gone,” said Roberts. “Why else would they call me? It was painful. Nothing like I ever felt in my whole life.”

Roberts' sister, 56-year-old Dianne Hagan, was found dead in a free church in the College Hill district.

“I will never hear a call from her again. This is rough. I was always the one she called first. She was my protector, but I have the feeling that I should have protected her,” said Roberts.

According to the police, it was found dead at 7:50 a.m. in the 2100 Block by E. Grand.

“I don't want it to be just a female victim. She is not a victim of a female victim. She is not a victim. She was a fighter and she was a mother and she was a sister and she was an aunt,” said Roberts.

Roberts described her sister as a clever, beautiful and loving person.

“I can't even feel in words how I feel because it is just a huge crumbling of emotions,” said Roberts. “She was the strongest person I ever knew in my whole life. She was my protector.”

Dianne Hagan was considered an old soul, the music and her family.

“My sister was very loved. She has now been with our father and mother, which was a long time ago since she saw her,” said Roberts.

SLMPD said Hagan was suffered from indefinite injuries. The medical examiner examines the cause of death.

Roberts said she wanted to transform her pain into other victims into the interests of interest.

“I don't want someone to feel the pain and heartache we feel. I will never hug my sister again,” said Roberts.

Roberts said she believes that the people in the community know something about what happened to her sister but does not appeal.

“It's my mission. It is now my goal to find out who my sister did. Nobody deserves it,” said Roberts.

Roberts wants the name and face of the sisters to be outside in the community that they keep their memory alive.

“I knew we would never see her again. The last time I saw her, she was in a coffin,” said Roberts.
