Adam Sandler is sad about the death of 'Happy Gilmore' Alligator

Adam Sandler will play in Netflix in the upcoming “Happy Gilmore 2” in the leading role this summer and repeat his role as a title golfer. The film will contain several professional golfers and athletes from various sports, but it will be without a remarkable actor.

Sandler paid tribute to one of his fallen co-stars in an emotional message on social media on Wednesday.

“Goodbye, Morris. We'll all miss you,” said Sandler, posting a photo of the Alligator who appeared in the first film of the series.

“You could have a hard time for directors, masonators and costumists – really everyone with arms or legs – but I know that you did it to the ultimate well -being of the film. On the day you would not get out of your trailer, unless we have learned 40 heads salad a powerful lesson: Never a compromise in your art.”

Sandler remembered one of his favorite moments with Morris and noticed that they divided a Three Musketers barbar and the alligator graciously let him take the larger half.

“I will miss the sound of her cock that glides through the high grass, its cold, bumpy skin, but above all I will miss her contagious laugh,” added Sandler.

“Many thanks to Mr. Young, who has taken care of her over the years, and Vaya con dios, old friend.”

Sandler referred to Jay Young, who heads the Colorado Gator Repile Park, the exotic animal shelter in Morris.

Morris officially died on Sunday and Young's death of the alligator in a social media contribution.

“Colorado Gator is sad to report on the death of our oldest alligator Morris. From 1975 to 2006, Morris was known for his work in many films and television programs when he retired to live out his days at Colorado Gator,” said Young in a Facebook post over the weekend.

“His exact age was unknown, but he was 9 feet long in 1975 and due to his growth rate and his tooth loss we can estimate his age at over 80 years old. As we knew that this was inevitable, we are very sad about his death in age.”

After his film career, the alligator spent almost 20 years in the Young habitat, fisted and enjoyed the fruits of his work.

Quiet in peace to Morris, and the fans can look forward to Sandler in “Happy Gilmore 2” when it is published on Netflix on July 25th.
