St. John's basketball RJ Luis, Joson Sanon appears on the NBA design list

It was no surprise when the names of RJ Luis and Joson Sanon appeared on Tuesday afternoon at NBA Draft Early Entry List, but it is something that must be monitored by St. John's Basketball program.

Luis announced his intentions to explain the draft over a month ago, and he confirmed that his top priority is the professional route, even though he also brought his name into the transfer portal.

“I'm just fully in the design,” said Luis last week to reporters at the 92nd annual Haggerty All-Met evening dinner.

“The transfer portal is really exactly like a backup plan. I only like it, my options in the event that I don't like anything about the design, but definitely only fully concentrates on the design.”

Luis is on the edge of many NBA -Mock designs, but hopes for an invitation to the NBA combination, in which he can impress organizations and strengthen his design stock.

While Luis' time with the Johnnies has ended independently of his decision to stay in the draft or return to college, one of the latest members of the Red Storm, the transfer of Arizona State, Joson Sanon, met a late decision to enter into the draft.

The expectation remains that Sanon Feedback from Scouts and Teams about what he has to work on will receive feedback in order to possibly already design the next summer and withdraw this season to play for St. Johns.

Sanon had the hope of being a one-and-done prospect, but an injury in the in-season extinct his strong start to the year for the US state of Arizona. The top 25 recruitment was originally hired in Arizona before reopening his recruitment and landing in the US state of Arizona.

He was the first transfer player to get involved in St. Johns this low season and started the country's high -ranking transfer portal class.

Invitations to the NBA Draft Combine are expected to be published within the next week.
