Steeler's Cornerback Ryan Watts moved medically in retirement due to a neck injury from his rookie season due to a neck injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Monday that they will publish Ryan Watts in the second year due to health concerns. Watts, who suffered a neck injury during the pre -season 2024, will be medically retired at the age of 23.

In an explanation, Steeler's General Manager Omar Khan said that the WatTS team would support if he continues from football.

“Unfortunately we publish Ryan Watts from our squad today. After we have advised our medical team, our medical experts and Ryan's representatives, we all agree that it is Ryan's best interest to play football,” wrote Khan in the explanation. “We will continue to support and support Ryan if he goes into the next phase of his life.”
