CHICAGO – – The authorities said that two police officers in Chicago were admitted to the hospital early Wednesday after their patrol car had been hit by another vehicle in the Englewood quarter.

According to the police, the crash occurred at 12.13 p.m. in the 200th of the West 69th Street.

The officers traveled north with activated emergency light on Wentworth Avenue when a gray limousine collided with their vehicle in a western direction in the 69th Street.

Both officers were taken to a local hospital for observation and listed in good condition.

The 34-year-old driver of the limousine rejected medical help. No further injuries were reported and no quotes were issued.
