Police in Sweden says that teenagers were arrested after three were killed in the shootout in Uppsala

The police in Sweden arrested a teenager in connection with a shootout in the eastern city of Uppsala on Tuesday, which made three people dead.

The arrested person is under the age of 18 and the officials examine the possibility of connections to gang crimes, the police said in a statement.

The three victims were between 15 and 20 years old, the police said at a press conference, but Erik Åkerlund, chief of police from Uppsala, said that their identity had not yet been confirmed “100%”.

The police announced on Tuesday that they had received calls from members of the public to hear the reported, loud pony, which are reminiscent of shots in central upsala, a university city north of Stockholm.

The police showed photos of the scene in front of a hairdresser called “Shalom”.

“A total of three people were shot and died in the hairdressing salon,” Åkerlund told reporters after the attack.

A large area was cordoned off by the police when they initiated an investigation.

Nina -based Nina said that she felt “uncomfortable” because the attack in a residential area next to her where she lives took place in an area where children often play.

“I went to my partner shortly before we drove past. We live next door and I think there are children and young people in these areas. I find it very uncomfortable,” she said.

Sweden has been violent for years of gangs, which has led to frequent shootings and bombing.
