While several foreigners came back to their respective teams, some players have decided not to take part in the rest of the tournament.

The young stroke of Delhi Capitals, Jack Fraser McGurk, is a foreign player who has withdrawn his name from the rest of the tournament. With 13 points in 11 games with a game in hand, Delhi is in fifth place on the IPL 2025 points table.

Gujarat Titans (16 points), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (16 points), Punjab Kings (15 points) and Mumbai Indian (14 points) are above them.

In a considerable relief for the franchise companies, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) enables the teams to sign temporary replacement for the missing foreigners who have withdrawn their names from the remaining games. There is one condition: the franchise companies cannot keep the replaced player for the next season.

Delhi Capitals made the best of the temporary arrangement and announced that Bangladesh would replace Fast Bowler Mustafizur Rahman Jack Fraser McGurk for the rest of the tournament.

The replacement of a front dough by a specialist was a tactical move, but it fell off because the fans on social media were not satisfied with the decision. The trouble was not due to the type of replacement, but to Rahman's nationality.

“Hindus are slaughtered in Bangladesh. After all the franchise players, the Bangladesh players shamelessly signed the capitals in Delhi in the IPL auction, Mustafizur Rahman!

“As a Delhiit, I will not support Delhicapitals. Shame in the capitals in Delhi! How can you choose players from a country where anti-India votes grow and the support for Pakistan is available?

In the meantime, the Bangladesh medium Pacer has traveled to the VAE with its national team to take part in an Odi series. According to reports, the Bangladesch Cricket Board (BCB) said that neither the IPL nor the player themselves were required to participate in the IPL even after the NO -OBJection certificate (NOC).
