Why trenders 'Boycott Delhi Capitals' before the resumption of IPL 2025

While several foreigners came back to their respective teams, some players have decided not to take part in the rest of the tournament.

The young stroke of Delhi Capitals, Jack Fraser McGurk, is a foreign player who has withdrawn his name from the rest of the tournament. With 13 points in 11 games with a game in hand, Delhi is in fifth place on the IPL 2025 points table.

In a considerable relief for the franchise companies, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) enables the teams to sign temporary replacement for the missing foreigners who have withdrawn their names from the remaining games. There is one condition: the franchise companies cannot keep the replaced player for the next season.

Delhi Capitals made the best of the temporary arrangement and announced that Bangladesh would replace Fast Bowler Mustafizur Rahman Jack Fraser McGurk for the rest of the tournament.
