McM Girls Golf Scores Team Meet Title at home – Mitchell Republic

Salem, SD – The McCook Central/Montrose golf team in the MCCOOK Country Club in the MCCOOK Country Club won the title at the MCM Invitational on Wednesday.

McM won the girls' competition with a single stroke via Garretse. The Fighting Cougars shot 297 as a team, while Garretson shot 298. Bridgewater-Emery became third with 321.

Izzy McNaugton by Dell Rapids St. Mary was the individual medalist of the girls' competition and shot a 1-over 73. She was 19 shots before the next best finishers, including Garresons Maci Rotert and Ethans Ashley Clauson, each shot 92.

In the boy competition, Hanson won the team title, finished the team as a team with 12 over Par and won with 17 shots with a gross point of 228. Gar Retson was second with 245 strokes and McM was third with a team of 247.

Kaden Burshiem of the Flandreau Indian School had the round of the day with a 4-below 68 for medalists and ended seven shots before Hansons Will Jarding and Ben Wilber, who shoot both rounds of 75 laps. Top-Five.
