Pittsburgh Pirate's injury report shows the players who return

Pittsburgh – The Pittsburgh Pirates have the players to return in their latest injury report.

The Senior Director of Pirates, Todd Tomczyk, has to do with both players and pitchers and how they are dealing with the latest injuries.

The first Baseman Spencer Horwitz continues his rehab order with Triple-A Indianapolis after he has a right wrist that held him out of spring training and pirates after a trade in the Cleveland Guardians last season.

Horwitz started his rehab order at Double-A Altoona on April 27th. He played in five games with only two goals in 16 bats, two walks to two strikes when he lowered 0.125/.222/.188.

He did better in Indianapolis after moving up on May 6th and in seven games .706.

Right-wing Dauri Moreta also continues his rehab task in Indianapolis. He set up in three games, 3.0 innerings and two deserved runs for a 6.00 -era.

Moreta missed the entire 2024 campaign after he had suffered a band injury in his right elbow and had operated on Tommy John. The team put him on the 60-day injury list on March 16.

The second Baseman Nick Gonzales started all baseball activities and agility drills on May 6th. Tomczyk reported that Gonzales will end baserunning this week and that they will be resumed after completing it.

The pirates transfer the Enmanuel Valdez Infieldder from the 10-day injury list, which they put on the 60-day injury list with left shoulder inflammation on May 9, which kept him away after May 7th.

Tomczyk said that Valdez is waiting for a second opinion on his shoulder and which is expected for the next week.

The right-handed pirates starting jar Jared Jones puts off his rehab and works back in spring training in his right elbow in his right elbow.
