Xpeng has just annoyed his next generation P7 sedan [Video]

It was less than a month since Xpeng Motors started to tease a new camouflage sedan with the Codename E29. This morning (or tonight when you are in China), Xpeng presented the mysterious limousine as P7 of the next generation. This enormous redesign of the flagship of the Chinese car manufacturer Bev Limousine is a nasty stunner and I wish I could drive one of my own in the USA.

The P7 debut in 2019 at the Shanghai Auto Show as the first sedan from Xpeng and its second production model behind the G3 SUV, which has now been discounted. It was also the first Xpeng model that I drove during a trip to the Netherlands in 2022.

In the first two years of production that started in 2020, Xpeng built over 100,000 units of his flagship sedan, and the sports vehicle has remained a pillar in its global sales. Since its introduction to China, Xpeng has delivered a 2023 refreshment called P7i and P7+with pure Camera Vision Adas, which was launched last autumn as the “The first KI car in the world”.

According to an internal letter that was sent by the founder, chairman and CEO of Xpeng, the CEO Xiaopeng last December, the Chinese car manufacturer has large plans for 2025 and beyond. The aim is to become a globally recognized brand by the end of the year that is present in over 60 countries.

In the internal letter, Xpeng's plans were also given to start a new or reimbursed model almost every quarter in the first quarter. In the first quarter we saw the debut of the G7 SUV, starting with an ultra-competitive price of around $ 34,000 in China. Since then, Xpeng has annoyed another new model with the code name “E29”, which last month in camouflage around Guangzhou, where Xpeng is headquartered to discover Guangzhou.

Today Xpeng confirmed that the E29 is not a tailor -made model, but a completely new generation of the P7, which was created by the chief designer Rafik Ferrag, which led the creation of the original 2020 model. Look at yourself:

Xpeng shares the first pictures of his breathtaking new P7 design

Xpeng shared the first pictures displayed above with a short press release with the exciting new design language, as the designer Rafik Ferrag explained, which began to tease the new model on its own social media accounts at the beginning of this week:

I am very excited that the first official pictures and the first video are visible to everyone. The original P7 was a milestone for Xpeng and a turning point in the EV landscape of China. With this new generation we wanted to design a pure electric sports sedan that could surprise at every corner. This car is our dream – around countless iterations. In my eyes, the brand new Xpeng P7 is a work of art that is characterized by emotions and intentions.

The Chinese car manufacturer explained that the new 5-seat P7 coupé Ferrags “develops developing design philosophy” and has been in development for five years. The Xiaopeng founder of Xpeng described it as a “big upgrade” for the next jump of the brand in BEV technology, the AI with luxury and the new Turing Smart Driving system.

The public of the next generation P7 is unknown to the public at this time, but we were informed that further details will be unveiled later. At the moment we have our first official view of this new futuristic model and a teaser video that you can display below.

If the new P7 represents the future design language of Xpeng, there should be many other exciting revelations in 2025 and beyond, since the brand continues to expand into a globally recognized name.
