Tottenham striker Kulusevski concluded for months through knee injury

The striker of Tottenham, Dejan Kulusevski, will appear for months after a knee operation.

Kulusevski will miss the Europa League against Manchester United for the injury next week, and it is not known whether it will be available for the start of the next season. It will be “at least a few months”, said Spurs trainer Verzecoglou on Thursday.

“They are disappointing news. At the beginning we thought it was not too serious because the medical team was obviously concerned about how the knee was structurally, but it seemed pretty good. But then it somehow blew up a day after.”

Kulusevski was injured on Sunday during the defeat of Spurs against Crystal Palace. On Wednesday he was operated on the right patella.

The final of the Europa League will take place in Bilbao next Wednesday, with the winner also gaining entry into the Champions League of the next season.

But Postecoglou is without important players, including the injured James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall.
