1 killed, 2 injured when shooting in the Aurora shopping center

One person was killed and two more injured injured on Wednesday evening in a parking lot in Aurora, the police said.

The Aurora officials reacted to the shootout in 1155 South Havana Street around 8:33 p.m. on Wednesday, near the street with the East Mississippi Avenue, according to a press release from the police department.

This address houses the marketplace in the Mississippi and Havana shopping center, which contains a King Soopers, a dollar tree, several restaurants, a spirits business and a preschool.

When the officials arrived, according to the press release, they found two men who had been shot.

A man died of his injuries in the parking lot and paramedics brought the second man to the hospital with life -threatening injuries, the police said.

The officials later found a woman who was also shot with the private vehicle in the hospital, the police said. She remains to the hospital with serious injuries.
