The reward increased to find who killed 30 geese in Cooper City – NBC 6 Südflorida

The reward was raised to find those who are responsible for killing around 30 Egyptian geese that were run over in December.

The shocking incident occurred on December 28 at 7.45 p.m. near Southwest 49th Street and the Southwest 120th Avenue in the Lake Eventualement Area between the Flamingo Gardens West Subdivision and the Countryside Shops Plaza, according to the Broward Sheriff's office.

The authorities said the geese had been run over by one of four or five people.

The Broward Sheriff's office said that the suspects in their late teenagers are up to the beginning of twenty and most recently drive in the off-road vehicle near the Flamingo Townhomes.

The vehicle fled in the Flamingo Townhomes.

The authorities had previously published surveillance videos and pictures of the suspects, but could not find them.

On Thursday, Detectives published the monitoring video of an ATV and the people they believe that they were involved in the “cruel, disturbing” murders of 30 geese in Cooper City. Lena Salzbank reports on NBC6

On Wednesday, the officials announced that the reward was increased to 8,000 US dollars for information that led to an arrest.

The reward includes 3,000 US dollars from anonymous donors, which expires on May 14, 2026.
