Man dies after an obvious medical episode leads to a crash

Last evening, May 14, 2025, the police authority received reports of a collapse at around 9:08 p.m. on the intersection of Skyhawk Pkwy and Gardner/Hyndver Rd. and Courtright approx.

The vehicle was occupied by the driver Roger Alan Belt, 66 by Martin. Mr. Belt was transported from the crash scene and later died in the volunteer community Hospital.

Witnesses to crash were received several statements. Martin Police Department Crash Investigator, Captain Trae Vaughn and Sgt. Grayson Whitworth reacted to the scene and started an investigation. It seems that Mr. Belt, the only inmate of the vehicle, had a medical episode shortly before the crash and then left his vehicle the street. There was no significant damage to his vehicle and no other people or property was damaged during the crash.
