These are the top trend food goals for the summer of 2025

The warm season is just around the corner, which currently makes the perfect time for your summer trips. And if you are something like the rest of us, you will probably center your next short vacation some delicious meals. And Airbnb knows exactly where you should do that.

At the end of April, the home rental website published its report on the summer tour trends of 2025. The company explains that people are looking for more focused experiences than ever before, which usually includes where they can receive these local flavors. These are the best trends for food for the summer of 2025 – from Italy to New York in the state of New York

“Worldwide, 1 out of 5 guests stated that they had selected Airbnb compared to other types of accommodations because they wanted to have a local travel experience,” said Airbnb. “This summer, travelers avoid the summer masses and exchange culinary capitals for local, affordable gourmet destinations.”

Airbnb quoted another poll from Panterra, which showed that almost half (47 percent) of these travelers “prioritize authentic local cuisine as their best food and drink experiences”.

Airbnb went one step further by showing his top trendy gourmet destinations, including Alassio, Italy, which “offers a similar retreat on the coast like Positano, with a lively culinary scene that is about its fresh local seafood, wild flowers and herbs and famous Riviera-Dop-Virgin olive oil centered. ”

It was also called Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in its list thanks to the “innovative international food scene” of this city. Then there is Chiclana de la Frontera, Spain, a beach town in Costa de la Luz, in which first -class restaurants specialize in cooking the best seafood in the world.

Airbnb also exclaimed Belo Horizonte in Brazil, “famous for his aromatic and traditional Minas -Gerais dishes”, together with Shillong, India, “celebrated for his unique local delicacies and traditional Khasi cuisine”.

However, you do not have to equip your passport for a short vacation geared towards food. Airbnb also quoted OneOnta, New York, as a top food focus location and said that it is a “hidden gemstone flight in the catskills, in which a variety of breweries, along with a variety of restaurants with a focus on ingredients of the farm”.
