Geforce RTX 5080 Super Inbound? Leck points for the new GPU with 24 GB

The next Computerex event begins in just a few days and we expect a whole series of announcements that could contain new graphics cards from all three main actors – NVIDIA, AMD (Radeon RX 9060 XT?) And Intel (ARC B770?). Preliminary teasers are in full effect, as are leaks and rumors. With regard to the latter, it is said that NVIDIA may be preparing a further addition to its setting up the Geforce RTX 50 series.

Although nothing has been confirmed, there is Chatter that Nvidia could soon publish a GeForce RTX 5080 Super or GeForce RTX 5080 Ti. Before we deal with the rumor, let the GeForce RTX 50 series be set up in relation to specifications (Cuda cores, VRAM, storage bus, storage bandwidth) and MSRPs …

  • GeForce RTX 5090: 21,760 Cuda cores, 32 GB GDDR7, 512-bit bus, 1,792 GB/s, 1.999 USD
  • GeForce RTX 5080: 10,725 Cuda cores, 16 GB GDDR7, 256-bit bus, 960 GB/s, 999 USD
  • Geforce RTX 5070 Ti: 8,960 Cuda cores, 16 GB GDDR7, 256-bit, 896 GB/s, 749 USD
  • GeForce RTX 5070: 6,144 Cuda cores, 12 GB GDDR7, 192-bit, 672 GB/s, 549 USD
  • Geforce RTX 5060 Ti: 4,608 Cuda cores, 8 GB/16 GB GDDR7, 128-bit, 448 GB/s, 379 USD/429 USD
  • GeForce RTX 5060: 3,840 Cuda cores, 8 GB GDDR7, 128-bit, 448 GB/s, 299 USD

We have linked every model to each model, apart from the vanilla (read: non-ti) GeForce RTX 5060 if you want to dive deeper into the specifications, functions, performance and our overall analysis.

As we have seen in the past, Nvidia tends to refresh its lineups with Ti and super models. There are already two Ti models in the GeForce RTX 50 series, and if a contribution on Baidu (as discovered by @Harukaze5719, a reliable tasty on X could give a note that there could soon be a third or the first super model in the Blackwell family.

According to the post office, Nvidia will either publish a GeForce RTX 5080 Ti or GeForce RTX 5080 Super by the end of the year. Not much is known about the specifications, apart from the fact that it is “basically safe” (via Google Translate) that contains the upcoming map 24 GB GDDR7 memory.

With regard to VRAM, the Ti/Super model would be properly located between the GeForce RTX 5080 (16 GB) and GeForce RTX 5090 (32 GB). This type of VRAM configuration could be possible by using 3 GB GDDR7 memory chips, as Nvidia carried out in the mobile version of the Geforce RTX 5090. All desktop variants use 2 GB memory chips.

We speculate here, but if this is the case, it could finally open the door to a wider super freshness. One of the biggest criticisms that Nvidia has confronted over the years is the perception that it is VRAM.

Players would certainly welcome additional skus with more VRAM, although the gaming community would be Really Enjoyment seeing are treated by Baseling MSRPs.
