Man who was convicted of crimes against children Vincennes PBS

A jury of the Knox Circuit Court found 72-year-old Daniel R. Adams guilty for possession of child pornography, a crime of level 5. The verdict fell back on Wednesday after a three -day exam.

In this case, it was about Adams, who photographed photos of two girls aged 7 and 9 in September 2024 at the age of 7 and 9. The conviction is planned for July, in which Adams is exposed to up to six years in prison.

The public prosecutor of Knox County, Dirk Carahhan, described the deputy deputy Mike Steiner for the presentation of the state. Carhahn also recognized the burden on putting the jury attempts on the local judicial system.

“There are too many cases, too few available court appointments and not enough prosecutors or public defenders to treat them,” said Carahhan and emphasized his concern for public security.

“As long as there are people who make children victim, we will do everything that can be done to remove them from our community, to create a closure to the victims and to start their healing,” he said.
