Police officers from the US state of Rhode Island probably found human remains in a place where Taylor Swift's beach villa was thrown away, US media reported.

According to a report by the local station NBC10.

“There were probably a few soccer fields from Taylor Swift's house and Ocean House,” said Taylor Day, a resident was quoted by the news channel.

“I would never expect something like that and especially not in Watch Hill”.

The remains were transferred to the medical examiner's office in Rhode Island for further analysis. The investigators are still working on confirming the identity of the remains, but police officers said that no foul was suspected at that time.

“I would definitely not agree,” said Day. “I think finding a leg is very suspicious”.

As the human remains were found, the concerns of a potential serial killer in Neuengland continue to plague the region. The bone was found on a beach path on the Everett Avenue in Watch Hill, a wealthy coastal slave in the city of Westerly, another station Wjar said.

The discovery marks the 13th body or the series of remains, which have been discovered in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts since the beginning of March, and triggers online weight over a potential serial killer.

Five corpses were found in Massachusetts, five in Connecticut and now in Rhode Island. Two of the corpses were found in the small town of Taunton, Massachusetts.

A former FBI agent said broadcaster Fox news that the authorities in the region have not published enough information to the public to lift the rumors.

“After what I first saw or heard, there is not enough out there, so we will continue to create this serial killer idea,” said Scott Duffey.

However, Duffey said he didn't think there is enough evidence to earn serial killers.

“But at the same time it was said that nothing established a connection,” he said. “Let the law enforcement authorities continue to answer the questions you have to answer. But nothing I have seen would appear to a serial killer who is responsible for one or the most of these people who were found.”

A man, Donald Coffel, 68, was arrested in connection with the murder of one of the victims, Suzanne Wormer from Groton, Connecticut.

Wormser was Coffel's roommate and she was dismembered in March and stuffed into a suitcase, which was due to the fact that the police were a dispute over crack cocaine.

Coffel died in the Corrigan Correctional Center on Friday, so NBC Connecticut. At the time of his arrest, Coffel told the police that he had great pain from cancer.
