The authorities in Nevada indicate the refugee arrest, which has fled from Washington

A man from Washington, who fled the authorities in his state, was captured near Jean on Tuesday after a five -day search.

Damien James Madison, 27, was taken into custody after the police, which he and his mother drove north on the Interstate 15, were hindered in Nevada, according to a press release from the US Justice Ministry.

On May 8, the deputies of the Sheriff's Sheriff von Thurston tried to arrest Madison because of earlier charges for crime. Madison used an AR-15 rifle during the persecution to shoot it several times. No MPs were hit, but your vehicle was damaged, it says in the release.

The Sheriff's office in Thurston and the Washington State Department of Corrections, together with the South Sound Gang -Ask Force, applied for the support of the FBI to localize and arrest Madison. In the next week, the FBI, together with its state and local partners, supported the Sheriff office of the Thurston County in trying to find Madison.

The FBI helped coordinate a multi-state and agency effort to find Madison and his mother, who will help his attempt to escape capture. Madison and his mother were first when they drove east on the I-15 in the California desert near Barstow.

When Madison and his mother entered Nevada, the FBI Las Vegas Criminal Doesion Team, which was waiting for FBI agents and Task Force officials, waited.

“This arrest serves as a remarkable illustration of how law enforcement companies lead to successful fears of dangerous refugees,” said Spencer Evans, who was responsible for the Las Vegas Division of the FBI in the press release.

The criminal team is headed by the FBI and includes the Metropolitan Police Department, the police authorities Henderson and North Las Vegas as well as the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Other agencies are: Department of Homeland Security, California Highway Patrol and FBI Fugitive Task Forces.

Madison remains custody in the Clark County Detung Center. He planned a hearing for Monday before the Las Vegas Justice Court.
