Fountain Valley Police publishes video by officer, who fatally shoots a suspect

The Fountain Valley police department released on Wednesday on Wednesday. The video shows controversial moments that lead to the fatal use of the officer.

The incident occurred while the officials responded to a call on Friday, January 24th, the authorities said. A dispatcher received a call from a concerned parishion of a member in which a situation was described in which a man had tried to open the door of the car of a woman near the Masuda Middle School.

An officer contacted the suspect, which was identified as Osean McClintock (26) from Fountain Valley – near the intersection of the Brookhurst Street and the Slater Avenue. The official asked McClintock to take a seat and shortly after he refused, he started running through several parking spaces, as the videos showed. The officer gave the persecution on foot, but the suspect won a distance.

McClintock then dipped on another official who was sitting in her police vehicle and he ran away a pistol of her. In the film material you can hear the officer how the suspect does not shoot her when she gets out of the fight and covers behind a post -service vehicle.

The second encounter between the police and the suspect took place near the intersection of the San Mateo Street and the El Corazon Avenue near the headquarters of the police department through the Slater Avenue.

When the first officer broke out the confrontation in a police radio, he sprinted to the place and asked the suspect to put down the weapon, as the film material shows. Instead, McClintock climbed to the driver's seat of the police cruiser. The first officer fired three rounds when McClintock closed the door, then another seven shots, the driver's window and the suspect shot.

The police and fire brigade staff of Fountain Valley made McClintock after being removed from the vehicle, but was declared dead at the scene.
