Conference finals appearance: Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors made 38 playoff appearances in the 79 seasons of the franchise in the NBA. In these trips, 13 teams made it to the conference final. So let's take a look at how these deep seasonal runs took place.

1947

The Philadelphia Warriors took off the St. Louis Bombers and New York Knicks on their way to the BAA final 1946-47. In view of the top seed chicago brain, the Warriors won their first championship with a 4-1 win, with the last three games with combined seven points being decided. The Hall of Famer Joe Fulks led his club with 22.2 points on ten excursions, which had won after the after -season after winning the hit during the regular season (23.2 ppg).

1948

The following season, the Philadelphia Warriors defeated the St. Louis Bombers in seven games in the semi -finals before being reached for the second time in a row to the BAA final. Paulry medicine scored an average of 27.6 points to run the Dubs, while Tom Gola (13.8 ppg, 10.0 RPG) and Neil Johnston (13.6 ppg, 11.0 RPG) had averaged double double.

1964

When the San Francisco Warriors survived Wilt Chamberlain and Tom Meschery Bob Pettit from 1963 to 1964 and the St. Louis Hawks in seven games in the Western Division final for the 1964 final was a force that the Hawks could simply do, since he scored 38.6 points and 23.4 rebounds in the series. 1967

1975

Barry helped to lead the Golden State Warriors to the Western Conference final in the 1974/75 season after defeating the Seattle Superps in the six months. They met the Chicago Bulls in this conference final, in which the Warriors had dropped 3-2 before they won the last two games to take the series in game 7. The Washington balls would finally sweep Golden State to win their third championship with Barry Finals MVP (29.5 ppg, 4.0 RPG, 5.0 APG).

1976

The following season did not end in two titles for the Warriors, but they made it again to the Western Conference Finale. In 12 of their 13 trips to this round of the post -season, the team from 1975/76 represents the only loss of the franchise in the conference final. Similar to the Warriors in the previous season, the Phoenix Sun would return from a 3-2 deficit and win on the street in game 7 to penetrate the final against the Boston Celtics.

2015

We have to go forward for the next appearance of the Golden State on the list about four decades, but it was the beginning of a warrior dynasty that lasted most of the past decade in the NBA. The coach Steve Kerr under the direction of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green navigated the victories of the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies to make it to the conference final. In five games, she blew past the Houston Rockets to get to the final for the first time in 40 years, where they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games to get the title.

2016

In 2015-16 the Warriors ended the second best record in NBA history (73-9) in the regular season. They went through the rockets in the first round and then fought against the Portland Trail Blazer in the half year before moving to the Western Conference Finals. There the dubs stormed back from a 3-1 deficit against the Oklahoma City Thunder to get to the final for the second time in a row. 2017

After his Thunder squad dropped her 3-1 lead against Golden State in 2016, Kevin Durant signed with the Warriors this summer to form one of the best teams in the history of the league. Curry and KD were masterful when they won the San Antonio Spurs over the Western Conference, and then take revenge in the final in just five games.

2018

The second year with a core of Durant, Curry, Thompson and Green, the warriors listed the fourth appearance in the Western Conference final in a row. Golden State went through the Spurs and Pelicans in the first two rounds before scored the rockets in the conference final. It took seven games and a comeback with 3: 2 series to give Warriors another trip to the final. KD received MVP honors on the back-to-back final after he had woken up the CAVs this time and marked the third championship of the Golden State in the past four years.

2019

The dominance of the Golden State would fall off in 2019 for serious injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson in the post -season. The Warriors took care of the business again in the first two rounds by depending on the La Clipper and Rockets to get to the conference for the fifth time in a row. They swept the Trail Blazer in four games to climb to the NBA final, but Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors played through in six games to claim the first title of their franchise.

2022

The Warriors went through a few years a few years after their final loss in 2019, but Curry, Thompson and Green would again lead them to the promised country. Golden State fought against the Denver Nuggets and Grizzlies to reach the final of the conference, where they could defeat the Dallas Mavericks in five games. Curry would finally receive his first final MVP by publishing the Boston Celtics 4: 2 and publishing an average of 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals.
