Donovan Mitchell from Cavaliers in Wild Trade Idea with the NBA final contender

In the last low season there was some speculation that the Cleveland Cavaliers may have been able to exchange Donovan Mitchell, but they signed it for an extension of the contract.

Well, now, after another countless playoff output in the second round, Mitchell's name will float again in the presumption of trade.

Siddhann Gupa from Fadaway World has proposed a trade in which the cavaliere Mitchell sends Mitchell to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Jalen Williams, Isaiah Joe, Kenrich Williams, who would receive the 15th overall selection in the NBA design and two future rounds of rounds.

“The combination of Donovan Mitchell with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would immediately form the best backcourt in the league,” wrote Guppa. “With two elite slates on the squad, Okcs was able to see a solid thrust with Mitchell in the team.”

This would represent a rear of a route for Cleveland, which Lauri Markkanen sent and sent a large number of draft picks to jazz in Utah to land the all-star in September 2022.

Of course, the question is whether the thunder in exchange against Mitchell wants to give up so much, especially in view of the fact that Oklahoma City could be at the abyss of a potential dynasty, at least in the Western conference.

Mitchell played 71 games with an average of 24 points, five templates and 4.3 rebounds over 31.4 minutes per night in 44.3/36.8/82.3 shooting spreads last season. This gave him his sixth all-star selection in a row.

The 28-year-old has now spent three years with the Cavs and did not achieve much success in the playoffs, even though he did not make it beyond the second round with jazz in his days.

You can listen to the chances that the Cavaliers will actually move around Mitchell at this time, but if the thunder comes along and makes such a tempting offer.
